LORD'S TAVERNERS DISABILITY SUPER CLINIC 2010
On 26 May at the MPowerdome, Tuggeranong, the Lord's Taverners Disability Super Clinic will again enable some 200 disabled children to actively participate in a range of sporting activities including table top cricket. Taverners funding supports ACT Cricket and ACTSPORT in staging this event which is very popular with children from a range of ACT schools for the disabled.
LORD'S TAVERNERS DISABILITY SUPER CLINIC 2009
Lord’s Taverners ACT Branch sponsored the Disability Super Clinic for 2 years at $1,000 per annum. The Clinic, organised by ACT Cricket and Actsport for 200 disabled children was held in May 2009 at Mpowerdome, Tuggeranong and called the Lord's Taverners Disability Super Clinic. It was a full day with the activities divided into four regions at the Mpowerdome. The focus was on differing motor skills, with participants competing either in teams or individually. The level of sound emanating from the children indicated their total enjoyment in the day.
